What class or clinic should I take?

• Beginner Player 

The player is just starting to play pickleball.

Beginner Four Week Class

 

 

• Advanced Beginner Player 

This player can hit a medium paced forehand and is working on direction and consistency. The player avoids using a backhand. They can hit a medium paced serve. They are still working on depth, direction, and consistency. They are not yet able to consistently sustain a dink rally.  The player is aware and working on the 3rd shot and understands fundamental positional strategy. They are learning proper court positioning, know the fundamentals of game play and can keep score.

           

Four Week Advanced Beginner Class

 

• Intermediate Player

This player has shot control on the forehand. The player is starting to develop a consistent backhand. The player consistently gets serve/return in play with limited ability to control depth.   There is increased dink consistency, with limited ability to control height/depth. The player can sustain medium length rallies and is starting to understand variations of pace. The player is developing the 3rd drop shot in a way to get to the net. The player is able to volley medium paced shots thereby developing control. The player moves quickly towards the non-volley zone when opportunity is there. They know the difference between hard game and soft game and are starting to vary their own game during recreation and tournament play.

What should I wear and bring?

Bring a water bottle, clothes for exercising and movement including court appropriate shoes with a flat sole.  We do not recommend wearing running shoes with a large waffle sole. We offer paddles for beginners to borrow.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in before your session. The check-in desk is to the left before you get to the lower court. There you will get your court, coach assignment and sign our waiver.

FAQ

Cancellations of 48 hours or more, we will fully refund you minus the Stripe 2.9% transaction fee for courts and one time clinics.  If you miss a session of a four week class, we will do our best to reschedule you for the same class at a different time.  If you cancel less than 48 hours, we will reschedule your court or clinic, we are not able to offer you a refund.
